This study covers the difficulties encountered by students in solving word problems in Mathematics. The independent variable contains the respondents‘ profile in terms of English grade and Math grade. In this study, the students‘ English grade represents the students‘ performance in English, which includes their reading skills. Their Math grade represents their mathematical ability, which is assumed to include operations and representations through symbols.
